Approach

Fewer decisions. Held longer.

We bring the patience of a gardener to the discipline of an underwriter. Process exists to protect judgment — not to replace it.

    Time is the edge

Most capital is impatient. We treat duration as an advantage: the ability to sit with an idea, a manager, or an asset until the work is done. We do not manage to a quarter.

  2. 02

    Independence of judgment

We are unaffiliated with product shelves and distribution machines. Research is first-party. If we cannot explain a risk in plain language, we do not take it.

  3. 03

    Alignment over activity

Busy portfolios are not the same as good ones. We prefer fewer, better partnerships — and economics that keep our interests next to yours.

  4. 04

    Resilience as design

A perennial is not a plant that never bends. It is one that returns. We design for drawdowns, illiquidity, and the seasons we cannot forecast.

What we refuse

Activity is not a strategy.

We will not manufacture complexity to justify a fee. We will not chase a benchmark that has nothing to do with your liabilities. We will not pretend that liquidity is free, or that a five-year lock-up is the same as a thirty-year horizon.

The work is slower than the industry prefers. That is the point. A perennial is not in a hurry to bloom.
